Opportunities to buy and sell annual leave Key Responsibilities: We re looking colleagues who are committed to high standards and keen to gain experience in the Investment and Asset Finance team. Role one You will be the key point of contact for budget holders and deliver monthly accounts, budget and forecasting services related to Supply Chain, Environmental Sustainability and Commercial Services. You ll provide ad hoc financial information on a range of projects for your budget holders. You ll work closely with and support the Management Accountants responsible for reporting on our property spend (one looking after responsive repairs and one looking after the investment programme). Role two You will be involved in maintaining our fixed asset register currently holding over 1.4bn assets, ensuring additions and disposals are recorded accurately and completing month end processing. You ll prepare a handful of balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to the annual accounts. You will be responsible for updating our security register and monthly contractor risk reports as well as getting involved in ad hoc project work to support decision making. About You: Experience assisting with management accounts. Ideally, you ll also be part-qualified or working towards an accounting qualification. A can do attitude and a commitment to continuing your professional development and knowledge of your specialism. Comfortable using a range of financial accounting systems and Excel. Drive for accuracy and completeness, you ll go the extra mile to deliver a high standard of customer service. Ability to problem solve and communicate to all levels of colleagues within Thirteen.
