SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Northfield, Birmingham Daily Rate: £85 - £100 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Temporary to Permanent Type: Full Time (Term Time Only) About the Role: LTF Recruitment is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN in Years 3 and 5. This classroom-based role involves assisting a small group of students with ASD and supporting the class overall. This position is long-term with the potential for permanency for the right candidate. Roles and Responsibilities: Support children with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. Assist teaching and learning across Key Stage Two. Run intervention sessions for children. Ensure a caring and safe environment for all pupils to reach their full potential. Personal Specifications: Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD). Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience as a TA. Experience working one-to-one and in small groups, including running intervention sessions. Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum. Calm, patient, and caring persona. Strong communication skills. Understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
