Job Description Up to £390 per week. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join a team at the Inpatient Unit in Lincoln, Nettleham Road. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a care home environment, particularly with end-of-life and palliative care patients. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals for up to 11 residents, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are met. - Develop and plan menus that cater to the specific nutritional requirements of residents. - Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen. - Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure meals support the health and well-being of residents. - Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed. - Provide a compassionate and understanding approach to residents’ dietary needs. Shifts Monday - Friday Days 5 - 6 hour shifts 26 - 30 hours a week Duration Temp - Perm role. successful candidates will receive permanent contract. Requirements Candidates will require: - Experience in the care sector. - Experience ins a Chef/cook hospitality role. - Understanding of dietary needs and restrictions, particularly for end-of-life and palliative care. - Strong organisational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene. - Experience in menu planning and nutritional assessment. Wages £13.00 per hour basic wage. Bank Holiday at time and a half.
