Come and work with our award winning team!
EKHA is a charitable registered social landlord. We were established in 1994 after a stock transfer from the East Kilbride Development Corporation. Since 2012, we have had a small but steady development programme, and we now own and manage 613 properties in East Kilbride.
We are recruiting a skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer. We are looking for someone who has a clear customer focus and will play a key role in delivering our planned asset programme as well as supporting reactive repairs.
You will work closely with the Customer Services team and have experience in delivering repairs and maintenance services along with planned and cyclical works, preferably in the social housing sector. Effective performance management is an essential requirement for this post.
You will be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have the ability to prioritise your workload and manage budgets. Forward thinking and having the ability to show leadership in testing situations is essential to the workings of the team.
Ideally, you will have experience of project management, managing contracts, procurement and health and safety, as well as an understanding of the Scottish Social Housing Charter. Experience in managing stock condition data would also be an advantage. A relevant qualification in a related discipline is desirable.
Over and above the great terms and conditions offered at EKHA, the Association also currently holds:
* Investors in People – Platinum award and was awarded UK Employer of the Year in 2023
* Investors in People Wellbeing – Gold Award
EKHA also offers salary sacrifice schemes and takes great pride in promoting health and wellbeing within the organisation.
Our core values of Empowerment, Kindness, Holistic and Agile are reflected in every decision we make. We expect the successful candidate to live by these values.
Closing Date: 12 noon on Monday 25th November 2024.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 5th December 2024.
