Management accountant
We are partnering with this award-winning family business based in the Northwest in the appointment of a management accountant.
Established for over 150 years, as one of the country's largest employers, the business operates throughout the North of England, as a supplier and distributor.
On a growth trajectory the business is looking to appoint a management accountant reporting to the Finance Director and managing the day-to-day activities of the business.
You will be responsible for the management accounts production, reporting and reconciliation.
Duties include:
1. Lead and manage the Accounts team.
2. Preparation and production of the management accounts for the company
3. Balance sheet reconciliations and production of the supporting review pack
4. Manage and develop management information systems and reporting to enable performance management of the division
5. Management and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
6. Annual budget preparation
7. Financial support and reporting
8. Finance support in all other department.
9. Continual review and development of processes and procedures
YOU:
10. Qualified, part qualified or finalist - ACCA/CIMA
11. Previous management accounts experience essential.
12. Management experience - manage a team
13. Excellent organisation skills
14. Strong accounting systems and excel skills
