A leading professional services firm is seeking to hire into a dynamic and exciting team. This job role is perfect for someone newly ACA or ACCA qualified in audit, tax, or another advisory area who is keen to move into transaction services, due diligence, and the wider corporate finance area. Transaction Services The firm is able to hire at Executive or Manager level.
The role will involve working on financial deals, focused on due diligence. The firm is ideally looking for an ACA qualified individual, often from audit, but any experience within TS or advisory areas is beneficial. You will have a strong commercial sense, an appetite for working on deals, and a curiosity for how business works.
You will be comfortable with numbers, have reasonable experience working with Excel, analyzing data, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Good quality business English is required, with the ability to express yourself verbally.
Day to day:
* Supporting a partner or director in delivering due diligence projects. You will receive significant partner and director attention, operating as a number 2 on a project rather than a number 4, as might be the case in the TS department of a top 10/top 4 firm. This allows for quick development from executive to manager due to accelerated experience.
* The firm is more agile and flexible than many larger practices, with no internal bureaucracy, creating a dynamic environment for capable individuals who want to develop and gain strong experience.
* This firm offers very good training programs, focusing on deal metrics, complex/personal skills in influencing, dealing with difficult situations, and everything required to succeed in TS/CF.
You will be supported to develop your own brand and network, attending events and building your network alongside the firm’s directors. You will seek to develop a peer group across the city and region in the professional services community.
The firm is gaining more than its market share, is busy with enquiries, and has a long-established network locally.
Salary-wise, Executives are typically paid around the mid to late £40s with bonuses based on firm and individual performance. This bonus can often be 10-15%, along with pension, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, and the offices have cycle storage and shower facilities. Manager salaries can be significantly higher, and all applicants will be assessed on their experience and qualifications, with any job offer based on that.
