Driver Hire is recruiting for a Cat B Van Driver to join the team of a friendly, busy, commercial butcher in Godalming. You will be delivering vacuum packed, sealed, fresh meat and poultry across the south and into London.
Deliveries are made to pubs, hotels, restaurants and holiday parks in a refrigerated transit-sized van. Previous delivery experience is preferred. There are frequent runs into central London so you must be comfortable with this.
Plenty of hand-balling so you will need to be physically fit, you will have the use of a trolley.
The successful candidate will be able to take the van home and have the use of it for their commute to and from work.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday and alternative Saturdays. Our client would like the successful candidate to be flexible with working extra Saturdays initially to help support a very busy period.

1. Pay £12 per hour plus paid holiday

**** Responsibilities of the Cat B Van Driver ****
5. Carry out daily vehicle walk round checks
6. Ensure load is safely secured
7. Assist with planning your route for the day
8. Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed on each drop
9. Be Health and Safety Focused in all aspects of the role
10. Possess the flexibility to “go the extra mile” and have a full commitment to providing excellent customer service
11. Use initiative and have an organised approach to your role and workload
12. Physically fit as lifting / handballing will be required

13. UK driving licence
14. Have delivery experience
