We build, acquire, lease-up and operate telecommunications towers that can accommodate and power the needs of multiple tenants. Overview
As an Assistant Accountant – Cash & Bank, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely closure of all periodic accounting and reporting for the cash ledger of the Group Companies, including month-end and annual closings.

Role Responsibilities
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:
* Allocating all the payments and receipts daily in most efficient manner.
* Ensuring the bank statements are downloaded daily; escalate promptly if any issue to swiftly resolve it.
* Ensuring the FX is uploaded on the system correctly and timely.
* Completing all the petty cash summaries and review to check for accuracy before sending it to report team for posting.
* Documenting processes and updating process maps & producing SOP's.
* Assisting internal or external audit team to complete quarterly or annual audit.
* Working to deliver day-to-day objectives with significant impact on achievement of results for the job area.
* Providing measurable input to new processes or standards in operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall function results.
Role requirements
To succeed in the role, you will have:
* 1–3 years of experience in an accounting role.
* Studying towards professional qualifications (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Desired Skills
* Fluency in French desirable.
* Experience working in a large organisation or public listed organisation.
* Operational experience of working in Africa.
