About Warrior Quest – Zm-FITNESSFOCUSED
Warrior Quest is a transformation programme by Zm-FITNESSFOCUSED, a dynamic and empowering boxing club designed exclusively for children. Focused on building confidence, discipline, and fitness through the art of boxing, Warrior Quest provides a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children to develop both their physical and mental strength. Sessions are held throughout the week, catering to children of various skill levels, from beginners to those more experienced in boxing.
Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Boxing Coach to lead and deliver our children’s boxing sessions. As a key member of the Warrior Quest team, you’ll inspire young participants to reach their potential, teaching them the fundamentals of boxing while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, organise, and deliver engaging boxing sessions tailored to the skill levels of children.
2. Teach fundamental boxing techniques, ensuring participants build confidence and skill in a safe manner.
3. Create a fun, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere that motivates children to stay active and engaged.
4. Monitor and assess progress, offering feedback to both participants and their parents/guardians.
5. Ensure safety measures are upheld and equipment is maintained during each session.
6. Act as a role model, instilling values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship in participants.
7. Collaborate with the Zm-FITNESSFOCUSED team to promote and grow the Warrior Quest programme.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Experience in boxing, either as a coach or practitioner (preferably with children).
2. Knowledge of fitness, conditioning, and techniques relevant to boxing.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate children.
4. A valid coaching certification is preferred (but not required).
5. Current first aid certification is desirable.
6. Must undergo a background check to work with children.
