About the Role We're looking for a Category Lead to join our clients Debt Advisory & Money Guidance team. In this role, you'll lead a small team, oversee contracts and grants for professional service providers, and offer expert commercial advice throughout the contract lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial activity across sourcing, procurement, and contract/grant management. Develop and implement commercial and sourcing strategies. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive value. Ensure compliance with public sector regulations (PCR2015, PA23, and government grant standards). Line manage and support up to three team members. Contribute to shaping the client’s strategic approach to service delivery. About You The ideal candidate will have: Commercial Expertise : MCIPS or equivalent, with experience across procurement, contract management, and commercial strategy. Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with public sector procurement regulations and grant standards. Decisive & Strategic : Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and make informed recommendations. Strong Communicator : Confident in influencing and building credibility with stakeholders.
