Job Description Evening Housekeeping Assistant Location: Yorkshire Clinic, Bingley Hours: 20 hours per week, Part-time, (4 hours a day, over 5 days, covering shifts between 18:00-22:00, Fixed-Term Contract until end of May 2025 Salary: Depending on experience Benefits Summary: The Yorkshire Clinic is one of West Yorkshire's leading private hospitals set in three acres of woodland in the grounds of Cottingley Hall near Bingley. The hospital opened in 1982 and currently has 57 bedrooms including one twin-bedded room all with en-suite facilities. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The four fully equipped theatres, all with ultra clean air technology, are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures, such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement. Treatments at the clinic include knee cartilage surgery, knee arthroscopy, knee ligament surgery, cataract surgery and shoulder muscle repair. There is also one theatre especially suitable for minor local anaesthetic procedures. The role: We currently have a great opportunity for a Evening Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Yorkshire Clinic, based in Bingley. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the Hospital, whilst supporting the wider team members across various departments Providing a range of housekeeping duties that will include: Maintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies. Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment). Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements. Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for patients & visitors. This is a challenging but rewarding role and would be ideally suited to a motivated team player. Supervisory. Previous experience in a Housekeeping role is essential and knowledge of COSHH and infection control is also desirable. Ideal candidate would have a full UK driving license. 4 hours a day, over 5 days, covering shifts between 18:00-22:00, Fixed-Term Contract until end of May 2025.
