Job overview
The service works with people between the ages of 14 - 65 who are experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis. You will be involved in the patient journey from assessment through to offering interventions supporting service users to recover from psychosis.
You will work closely with other locally based services and agencies to assist in the promotion and development of a comprehensive Early Intervention in Psychosis Service.
You will provide care coordination for an agreed number of service users and their families.
You will promote early detection and help develop links with other youth-focused services.
Main duties of the job
1. To work as a team member to manage own and others' caseload (in absence) to meet service user needs.
2. To provide and facilitate a range of care and treatments within a community setting, accepting referrals as per team protocol.
3. To offer appropriate support and guidance to service users and their families/careers.
4. To involve service users and carers in the development of care plans reflecting principles of good risk assessment and management.
5. To act as an advocate for service users where agreed, or provide appropriate advice and support in accessing advocacy services.
6. To participate in case management and practice supervision with team colleagues.
7. To maintain accurate records and input data into information systems (including electronic systems) within agreed time-scales.

Qualifications
* RMN or OT
* Evidence of Accredited Post Registration Training in relevant subject.
* Psychological interventions experience and training or qualification.
* Management Leadership experience/qualification.
* ENB 998 or equivalent.
* Non-medical prescriber.
* Behaviour Family Therapy.
