About this opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Service Lead to manage our Purchase to Pay and Accounts Receivables team. Location to be agreed with the successful candidate. The role will report to the Group Finance Manager – Financial Services.
Following Local Government Reorganisation this has been delivered as a shared service but is now being disaggregated with a mixture of new and existing staff serving Westmorland and Furness Council.
Purchase to Pay and Accounts Receivable are part of the Council’s Financial Services team, so you’ll be joining our friendly, welcoming and supportive team.
The team primarily work from Carlisle however work location can be discussed at interview.
Who we are looking for…
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities so will need to be an experienced team worker with management or supervisory skills.
You should have NVQ Level 4 with equivalent knowledge or experience in a similar environment. You should have experience of managing complex systems handling large volumes of data. An excellent team-player, you’ll be responsible for managing and motivating staff delivering and embedding excellent customer service.
