Our Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners ranked client is seeking a 5-year PQE+ Family Solicitor with strong technical skills to join their Family Finance team, showcasing expertise in financial matters or relationship breakdowns, particularly in TOLATA. The role will also encompass complementary private law children work. The firm places high value on a commitment to client care, profitability, and business development, expecting a positive and impactful contribution in these areas.
Additionally you will possess exceptional written communication skills and demonstrate a keen interest in learning and enhancing new skills. The ability to prioritise tasks within stringent deadlines and targets is crucial, coupled with some prior experience in overseeing junior team members.

Running a caseload of family law files including divorce
Low to medium net worth financial matters
Relationship breakdowns, especially in TOLATA
Private law children work
Domestic violence applications
Assisting senior team members in complex, high value matters
Is this the position for you?
5 years’+ experience as a Family Solicitor
Resolution accreditation/Law Society Advanced Family Law Panel membership or willingness to obtain
Ability to work well as part of a team including towards a team financial target
Marketing, networking and business development skills
Ability to communicate effectively with the firm’s clients
Commitment to maintaining professional, Lexcel and firm standards
Continuing professional development to ensure excellent technical knowledge
Achieving time recording and billing targets
Developing personal profile and marketing the team online and face to face
