Description
This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to the busy Executive Office of the Premier League. The Executive Office oversees all elements of the Premier League's operations and priority issues, including strategic planning, Shareholder and Board reporting as well as meeting delivery, other key stakeholder engagement and the liaison with relevant departments regarding business critical, operational, commercial, regulatory, legal and political matters.
The Administrator will work closely with the Executive Assistants to the Chief Executive and Board to support them and assist with the smooth running of all activities. The role will suit someone who thrives working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, with first class organisation and communication skills, enthusiasm to deliver and think proactively, as well as high levels of attention to detail in their work. They will need an ability to multi-task, establish excellent internal and external working relationships and effectively prioritise under pressure.

The role
* Providing administrative support to the Executive Office team including the Director of Executive Planning, Senior Executive Office Engagement Manager, Senior Executive Planning Manager and Executive Assistants to the Chief Executive and the Premier League Board
* Maintaining efficient electronic and paper filing, archive systems and contact databases
* Managing corporate gifting ordering, procurement and distribution as well as a maintaining a detailed gifting tracker list
* Processing expenses and invoices and tracking budget spend
* Providing additional support to, and cover for, the Executive Assistants to the Chief Executive and the Premier League Board
* Support with operational planning and delivery of key Board and Shareholders' Meeting events and other corporate events as necessary, including supplier liaison
* Arranging national and international travel logistics (including visas) and producing itineraries
* Assisting the Director of Executive Planning and Senior Executive Planning Manager in the production of agendas and accompanying papers for Shareholder, Board and regular Executive Leadership meetings
* Assisting with the preparation and review of high-quality reports, presentations and other documentation, following the corporate brand and Premier League style guidelines
* Other duties as may be required from time to time
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience in an EA/PA/administration role
* Past experience working within an Executive Office is preferred
* Previous experience proof-reading board level documents and submissions
* Ability to work in the office 80% of working hours (one day a week from home, dependant on team schedule and business needs)
* An ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative
* A proactive and highly organised nature, with excellent attention to detail
* An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced and excellent Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills
* Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organisational skills
* A proven record in handling confidential information and exercising discretion
* An ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to tight deadlines and grasp instructions/requirements quickly and accurately
