Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, on a temporary basis.
The role has arisen due to the business going through a busy period, and the successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team.
The Accounts Assistant will be providing support to the finance team, assisting mainly with the purchase ledger function.
What will you be doing?
1. Sorting and sending outgoing Accounts Payable invoices.
2. Dealing with Accounts Payable queries.
3. Dealing with customer statements and remittances by post and email.
4. Completing and managing ongoing query spreadsheets.
5. Processing credit card transactions.
What skills are we looking for?
1. Have prior experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role.
2. Have strong Excel skills.
3. Have strong IT skills or the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
