Starting salary of £31,586 rising to £34,314 after the successful completion of the first six months in your ASYE year.

As a Newly Qualified Social Worker you will:
* Hold a Social Worker Qualification
* Undertake our well-renowned Assisted Year programme (AYSE - recognised by the British Association of Social Workers)
* Have the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and capability
* Strengthen your professional confidence
* Receive focused support and supervision
* Hold a manageable caseload
You will undertake a full range of social work duties to include duty and screening work, assessments, shadowing and co working in relation to child protection work, care proceedings, children in care, and will engage with partner agencies. High quality child-centred services will be your key focus alongside the need to develop strong, evidence-based assessments with an emphasis on robust risk analysis to help plan for future interventions. Together with a commitment to team working and sharing learning, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and able to demonstrate your contribution to achieving our goals.
All our newly qualified social workers undergo a comprehensive induction across Children’s Integrated Services to ensure that you have a full understanding of the links with all aspects of social work.
