My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Barrow-in-Furness and commutable from Newton in Furness, Dalton-in-Furness, Great Urswick, Lindal in Furness and Askam-in-Furness. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Miller join their team. The Role: CNC Milling - Set and operate CNC 3-axis Milling Machines - Programming at the machine - Training can be provided - Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs - Working on Fanuc or Siemens-based controls - Working from drawings - Quality control of components - Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc - Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate - Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Milling Programmer - Experience of Setting, Operating CNC 3-axis Mills - CNC Miller on Fanuc or Siemens controls - CNC Programming experience is adventageous - Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances - Experience in the Aerospace or Defence industry is desirable - Experience working from engineering drawings - Able to quality check own parts - Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved - Motivated and excellent team player The Package: CNC Milling Programmer - Starting rate up to £24 per hour dependent on experience - 4 Day week - Day shifts are Mon – Wed, 07:30-18:00 Thursday - 07:30-16:00 - Pension and Healthcare scheme - 29 Days Holidays - Including Bank Holidays - Overtime and Weekend Work available - Progression opportunities - potential to train apprentices in the future Interested?
