Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home or home care setting. This is a rewarding role where you will make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
2. Support individuals with mobility and transfers
3. Assist with feeding and supporting individuals to maintain their nutrition and hydration
4. Engage in meaningful activities and provide companionship
5. Maintain accurate records of care provided
6. Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and the care team
7. Follow care plans and ensure individual needs are met
8. Provide emotional support and reassurance
Skills:
1. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
2. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families
3. Basic IT skills for record keeping purposes
4. Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential
5. Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately

Pay: £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
