Working hours: 30 hours (6 hours per day, Mon-Fri, to be agreed), with flexibility to work full days when classroom training is being delivered.

If you’re looking for a part-time office-based admin role, have a really good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and can manage several projects on the go at once, here's a gem of a job supporting our small and dedicated Learning & Development function in a diverse and multi-site business with 850 employees, ranging from LGV drivers and office administrators to chemists and directors. We offer a broad choice of in-person and online training courses that touch every employee and include a comprehensive induction programme.
What you’ll be doing as Learning & Development Administrator:
Part of the wider, super-supportive 14-strong People team at our Benson head office, with its modern training suite, you will:
1. Ensure that all training materials are updated and ready for delivery.
2. Upload training records promptly.
3. Help with the organisation and admin of external training events.
4. Prepare delegate lists and invitations, distributing joining instructions and collating course documentation.
5. Assist with the administration and facilitation of our brilliant Grundon in a Day and The Grundon Way induction programmes.
6. Administer the compulsory LGV driver training courses, including scheduling and getting the training materials ready.
7. Produce supplementary training material, e.g., workbooks, handouts, evaluation documents and in-house training certificates.
What you’ll need:
1. At least one year’s office admin experience, ideally within a training environment.
2. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
3. Patience and flexibility - there's inevitably some rescheduling due to cancellations.
4. Full valid driving licence.
