About The Role
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to work for the Estate Services department. We are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised manager who is keen to be part of a team delivering excellent housing services and to help advance our challenging improvement plans. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional estate services. This position is perfect for someone passionate about ensuring the safety and comfort of Islington residents and ensuring our staff comply with health and safety requirements.
Main duties of the job
The key responsibilities are supporting Heads of Estate Services and Estate Services Area Managers in the effective management of borough-wide estate services functions, co-ordinating staffing levels, equipment, logistics and budget to ensure the smooth running of the service.
You would be required to create and maintain accurate recording of information, using a variety of software applications in relation to estate recharges, inventories, and safety information.
Take full line management responsibility for the Service Delivery Officers, Stores Manager and directing mobile Caretakers working across various locations within the borough.
To work closely with other managers, assist with cover of ES Area Managers' absences, working flexibly to support delivery of services across the borough, when required to do so.
You will act as an ambassador of the Council on the front-line service delivery.
