Teaching Assistant Needed We work closely with a Primary School who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. The school is located quite rurally in Cinderford and so having a driving licence would be really beneficial. The school has a really interesting approach to SEN TA work, where 1:1 sessions are limited as they like students to not feel singled out in any way and so the SEN support is more general throughout the class. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This position is being offered on a full time basis Monday-Friday, with the hours each day being 8:30-15:30. The school is looking for someone to support the learning any students who need additional support. These students will have SEN and so knowledge of SEN would be really beneficial to the role, or any experience with this. There could be some challenging behaviour within the classroom and so being confident in your ability to handle this is crucial. What will you do on a daily basis? Support the teacher in their teaching of the class, ensuring any tasks are completed which would aid the lesson plan. Ensure the students are supported and get the additional help with their learning. The role could include intervention sessions Providing supervision of the students over break times.
