Job Purpose
CBES (City Holdings) have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who aspires to develop their career as an Electrician, to assist and support Electrical installation and maintenance works alongside the Electrical team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Key Accountabilities
1. Representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
2. Assist and support the delivery of Electrical installation and maintenance works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales.
3. Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
4. Striving to achieve snag free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved within 6 working days.
5. Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may affect project delivery.
6. Ensuring company vehicle (where provided) is kept clean, well maintained and serviced as required.
7. Comply with any other reasonable management instruction.
8. Achieve required standard of academic performance (Apprentice college course).
Qualifications/ Qualities required
1. Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum. 5 GCSE Grade C or above including Maths, English and a minimum of one science subject.
2. Able to work efficiently on your own or as part of a team.
3. Excellent communicator (both written and verbally).
4. Speed and efficiency of work.
5. Ability to work at heights.
6. Maintenance of Health and Safety policy.
7. Enthusiasm for problem solving.
Knowledge, Skills + Abilities
1. ECS Skill card - site operative grade (desirable).
2. Ability to respond well to competing priorities and demands including time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
3. Adaptable and analytical approach to tasks and problem solving.
4. Full (UK) driver's licence.
5. Flexible approach to working hours.
You will be highly motivated with a commitment to your study and development and be able to demonstrate great communication and interpersonal skills.
