Hirexo is proud to be exclusively partnered with a well-established Insolvency Practice that’s actively seeking a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner to join their expanding team. This role is based in Leeds City Centre, with a flexible hybrid working model and opportunities to work across multiple offices in the region.
About the Role:
Join a prominent commercial insolvency practice with an office in Leeds, West Yorkshire. While MVAs and CVAs are the main focus, the practice is expanding into personal insolvency with a newly formed Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA) arm, though experience in IVAs is not required. However, if you do have IVA experience and a record of winning business, there will be an opportunity to build your own team around your work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a broad portfolio of commercial insolvency cases, with opportunities to oversee personal/IVA insolvency work as the division expands.
* Develop and nurture strong client relationships, supporting business growth through both personal networks and the firm’s acquisitions.
* Ensure all cases meet regulatory and statutory requirements, delivering high-quality solutions for clients.
* Collaborate closely with senior management to contribute to the strategic growth of the firm.
* Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented culture.
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified and licensed Insolvency Practitioner with a valid UK insolvency licence.
* Relevant qualifications such as JIEB, ICAEW, ACCA, CAI, or Law Society Insolvency Licence.
* Proven experience managing commercial insolvency cases, particularly in MVA and CVA; IVA experience is a plus but not essential.
* Strong record of business development and managing a minimum annual billing portfolio of £400,000, with proven billing schedules for the past three years.
* Demonstrated ability to win business and secure client relationships.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to solving problems.
