Royal Hampshire County Hospital has a vacancy for a CT Clinical Site Lead to join our dedicated team of Radiographers that are offering outstanding CT services to our patients.
You will be joining the department at a very exciting time when our Radiology Department has engaged in a fully managed equipment replacement programme, resulting in departmental refurbishment and installation of new imaging equipment incorporating the latest technology.
RHCH has 2 brand new Canon CT scanners, a Prime and a Prism. At our satellite site in Andover, we have a Canon Prime.
You will be responsible for leading the CT service at RHCH.
HHFT supports specialist services for rare and complex illnesses for patients from across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei. We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including body imaging and CT colonography. We also perform a wide range of vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies as well as developing an expanding cardiac and ablation service.
We welcome applications from experienced CT radiographers with effective leadership skills who have a proactive approach to providing outstanding care for every patient. Ideal candidates will be well-organised team players with great clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritise ever-changing worklists. Excellent working knowledge of CT and patient safety is essential with the ability to participate in our extended day and weekend service.
