We have a brilliant opportunity available for an enthusiastic person to become our new Presser. First and foremost, we are looking for people who have the desire and commitment to be successful. Ideally, we are interested in people with a background in the textiles industry with a keen attention to detail to work in a busy press area however we will also consider trainee candidates. The market and landscape are fast-moving and growing which is creating new opportunities. What will you be doing in the role? Press, steam, and finish textiles to meet our high-quality standards. Operate and maintain pressing equipment efficiently and safely. Handle a variety of high value cashmere garments with expertise and care. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines. Interpret and check grading sheets depending on the type of garment you are working on. Basic IT skills required as regular use of tablets. Communicating with peer staff members and management to work effectively as a team. What will you bring to the role? Previous experience in a similar role or in the textiles industry is preferred but not essential as we can trainee people without any experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
