Online CSAE and Crime Operations work closely with SEROCU Covert Operations (COU) to deploy undercover (UC) operatives against online paedophile and criminal activity. You will work with COU to infiltrate this activity, develop intelligence around individuals and groups to identify them and their risk. You will then own the overt prosecution of identified individuals in both the CSAE and Crime arena through to successful prosecution. This role involves partnership working internally, nationally, and internationally with, amongst others, CPS, OCAITs, and other agencies to develop and disseminate intelligence and prosecute evidential packages. We are looking for people with a solid investigative background, ideally with some knowledge of CSAE investigations, safeguarding and pro-active covert techniques or somebody willing and able to learn these skills as part of a dedicated team in a unique and very rewarding area of work.
