Job Title: Field Care Supervisor Domiciliary Care Location: Staines, Ashford, Shepperton, Woking, Walton on Thames, Weybridge, Addlestone Salary: £25-28k Hours: Full-time (Part time office, part time field) Overview: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our domiciliary care team. This role involves supervising care staff, supporting the Care Manager, and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our clients in the community. The ideal candidate will have previous care experience, be well-organized, and have strong written communication skills to contribute to our paperless office approach. A full, clean driving license is essential for this role as travel across the specified areas is required. Key Responsibilities: Staff Supervision & Support: Conduct regular staff supervisions, appraisals, and ensure ongoing training and development. Provide support and guidance to care staff to ensure they deliver the highest standard of care. Carry out spot checks to ensure that care is being delivered in line with company policies and regulatory standards. Care Plans & Reviews: Write and review care plans for new and existing clients, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and person-centered. Ensure that all care plans reflect the individual needs and preferences of clients and are compliant with CQC standards. Conduct care reviews with clients and their families to assess care needs and make any necessary updates to the care plan. Audits & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of care delivery and paperwork to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to improve the quality of care. Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements, infection control, and safeguarding procedures. Assisting the Care Manager: Assist the Care Manager in various tasks, including managing staff rotas, overseeing new referrals, and dealing with client queries. Support with recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding new staff. Take responsibility for specific projects as directed by the Care Manager. Paperwork & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records, including care notes, staff documentation, and client feedback. Assist with generating and managing paperwork as we transition to a paperless system. Strong IT skills will be essential. Skills & Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year experience working within a care setting (domiciliary care experience is desirable). Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write detailed care plans and conduct care reviews. Experience in conducting audits and spot checks to ensure high standards of care. Ability to support, motivate, and manage a team effectively. Proficient in using IT systems, with the ability to embrace a paperless office environment. Full, clean UK driving license and access to a car (essential). Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. Experience in managing or supervising a team is an advantage.
