Rough Sleeper Prevention Worker\n \n LOCATION: Exeter\n HOURS: 37.5 06:00-13:30\n SALARY: £12.80 Inclusive PAYE\n DURATION: Temp 3 months+\n \n Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in people's lives? Do you have a heart for supporting individuals experiencing homelessness? If so, our client is seeking a dedicated Rough Sleeper - Prevention Worker to join this team on a contract basis.
This role offers an opportunity to work directly with those in need and contribute to preventing and addressing homelessness in our community.\n \nContribute to proactive measures that prevent individuals from becoming entrenched in rough sleeping. \nSupport vulnerable individuals by providing practical assistance and guidance. \nCollaborate with local agencies to ensure a holistic and effective approach in addressing homelessness.
\n Preferred Requirements:\n \nExperience in outreach work or relevant field, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities of homelessness. \nAbility to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals, showing empathy and sensitivity to their needs. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both service users and external stakeholders.
\nA proactive and resilient nature with the ability to manage challenging situations with compassion and professionalism. \nPassion for social justice and a commitment to advocating for the homeless community. \n Preferred Qualifications (not essential):\n \nRelevant qualification in social work, psychology, or a related field.
