Job description
Introduction
Our client, a well-established company in the water industry, is currently seeking an ICA Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the water sector. As an ICA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the team to write URS (User Requirement Specification), FDS (Functional Design Specification), and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) Documentation
2. Contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical systems
3. Assist in the commissioning and maintenance of ICA (Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) equipment
4. Provide technical expertise and support to ensure efficient project delivery
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
6. Conduct troubleshooting and fault finding activities as required
7. Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements
8. Significant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the water industry
9. Strong understanding of ICA systems and instrumentation
10. Knowledge of URS, FDS, and FAT Documentation
11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
12. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
13. Good communication and interpersonal abilities
14. United Utilities experience is essential
