Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their functional abilities and needs.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment outcomes.
* Provide therapeutic interventions to help individuals achieve their personal goals and improve their daily living skills.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and treatment.
* Educate and advise patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance functionality and promote well-being.
* Monitor progress, reassess needs, and adjust therapy plans as required.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
* Stay current with best practices, new techniques, and relevant legislation in occupational therapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as an Occupational Therapist
