What You’ll Do:
* Take the lead on cost management for the £150m industrial & logistics project, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and scope.
* Manage JCT contracts, ensuring all aspects are met in compliance with legal and client requirements.
* Provide expert advice on cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
* Lead and manage the preparation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and other contractual documents.
* Monitor project costs, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure financial objectives are met.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver accurate cost reports and maintain smooth project progression.
What They’re Looking For:
* Experience with JCT contracts is a must-have.
* Extensive quantity surveying experience gained from working within a consultancy environment.
* Ideally, MRICS accredited or working towards it.
* Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, and contract management in the industrial and logistics sectors.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
