Assistant Finance Business Partner

What you’ll be doing:
9. Assist in the production of the monthly Management Accounts & Management Information.
10. Support the Finance Business Partners with being the interface between front line managers & the Head Office MI finance team.
11. Take the lead on weekly exception reporting, ensuring all information is received from operational colleagues and reported to FBP’s & Sales colleagues to ensure our invoicing is timely & accurate.
12. Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget, year-end accounts and associated working papers.
13. Support with credit control to ensure we receive payment from purchasers. This will include liaising with external agencies / customers directly where the sales team need support to bring bad debts to a conclusion.
14. Support senior finance colleagues to embed a positive & person-centred culture across the finance function, and the wider business.
Who you are:
15. AAT / Part Qualified – study support provided.
16. Minimum 3 years working within a finance role
17. Proactive team member with the ability to influence and work well as part of a team.
18. Work well to deadlines, with exceptional time management skills.
19. Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively present data
20. Fully IT competent in Microsoft packages in particular Excel. Opening accounts experience would be advantageous.
