You’ll be paid a salary of up to £34,500 per annum, which includes a night shift allowance. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Day to day leadership of the light goods picking team, coaching team members to support the delivery of quality and accuracy in all areas of the department, in addition to first line automation trouble shooting
* Monitor the flow of product to identify stoppages / blockages, investigating cause to determine the most appropriate resolution
* Control team members interactions with automation, in line with training, ensuring safety process are followed on every occasion
* Encourage and identify ideas for continuous improvement, health and safety, housekeeping and productivity
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous experience in a highly automated environment along with the ability to effectively lead, coach and develop a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
* Strong communication skills, engaging your team and developing relationships with other managers
* Be self-motivated, take full ownership of the line, processes and responsibility for own and your teams’ workload to achieve optimum productivity
