Job Summary
We Care Bespoke are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to support our clients team in a nursery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for young learners.
Duties
1. Assist in the daily management of nursery activities and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
2. Support the planning and implementation of educational programmes that promote children's development.
3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
4. Supervise children during playtime and structured activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment.
6. Drive children to various activities or outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
2. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate young learners.
4. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
5. A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
6. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in childcare.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
