Making A Difference as A Safer Communities Commissioning Officer in the Housing Service.
St Helens Council is seeking to appoint a Commissioning Officer to develop and deliver programmes and projects aligned to the priorities of the Community Safety Partnership.
The post holder will work to identify needs and opportunities, secure funding and deliver programmes and interventions that prevent crime and disorder alongside our key partners. The role also involves the management of existing contracts and oversight of projects to target activities and support into our local communities.
Working within areas such as improving the night time economy, tackling serious violence and violence against women and girls, this post will transform the local priorities into actions that have a positive impact on our borough.
This role will also support the delivery of specific projects, including opportunities to engage and work directly with residents and communities.
This role is an opportunity for applicants with transferable skills who are looking to work within a wider community safety partnership.
