Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant - Lancaster
If you are an Early Years practitioner with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or are working towards one), we want to hear from you! We're seeking a dedicated and creative individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on young learners.
We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support class activities and individual development in schools across Lancaster. A strong understanding of the EYFS framework is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare resources and activities for the whole class, small groups, and 1:1 support.
* Provide feedback to pupils on their progress and achievements under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Collaborate with teachers to organise and implement appropriate classroom activities.
* Liaise with other professionals such as teachers, TAs, and specialist support staff.
* Work closely with other Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and support staff.
* Provide support to classes, small groups, or 1:1 with individual children.
* Monitor and track the development of pupils, supporting their personal growth and confidence.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience working with young children.
* Confidence in managing challenging behaviours.
* Ability to engage and build rapport with young learners.
* Creative, proactive, and flexible in your approach.
* Experience with or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) or learning difficulties.
* Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or working towards one).
