As a Sales Agent, you will be at the heart of our customer interactions, handling inbound enquiries, providing essential sales admin support to Territory Sales Managers (TSMS), and pricing, chasing, and winning orders. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service. This role will be based at our office at Willington Lock Quarry site.
You'll collaborate closely with our distribution and shipping team, managing customer orders and offering support over the phone. Your professionalism and dedication will shine as you represent the Breedon brand, delivering excellent service and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
• Be the friendly voice answering customer calls promptly, ensuring top-notch service every time.
• Keep track of all enquiries with precision.
• Create and price quotations quickly and accurately, always within agreed tolerances, and ensure every enquiry has complete contact details.
• Add comprehensive notes to each enquiry, documenting all customer interactions and decisions.
• Process and confirm order acknowledgments.
• Manage and track all enquiries, ensuring every lead is followed up to a win or loss.
• Impress the Commercial Manager with detailed weekly reports by 17 : 00 on Fridays, highlighting key sales data, including won / lost orders and major enquiries.
• Swiftly raise and price enquiries as requested by the TSM, meeting all deadlines.
• Spot opportunities to sell additional products and upsell with every enquiry.
• Resolve invoice queries within 7 days, maintaining a flawless query log.
• Log and address complaints promptly, collaborating with production and territory sales managers.
• Proactively identify new customers, track declining ones, and uncover exciting new site opportunities.
• Support the Distributions team by handling calls and enquiries, aiming for first-call resolution.
• Step in to assist other departments as needed, showing your versatility and commitment.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Focus on the customer relationship – maintain good customer relations and actively build new ones
Desire to succeed and build on customer base, upselling a range of performance products to ensure that Breedon succeeds and is the solution of choice for appropriate building projects
Willingness to develop an understanding of our product range
Effective time management, adhering to administrative policies and procedures
Attention to detail to ensure sales data produced is accurate
UK driving licence (due to site location)
Computer literate
Previous experience in a similar sales environment or construction industry experience
Able to work in a busy office environment
