Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or undergraduate pharmacy degree recognized by the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC), and registered as Part A with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
2. Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency or equivalent hospital pharmacy experience is an asset.
3. Experience in direct patient care, drug information, pharmacokinetics and computerized drug order entry
4. Strong knowledge of drugs and therapeutics with ability to apply in the provision of patient care
5. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively, courteously, and tactfully.
6. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and autonomous decision-making skills
7. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and as a team member in a fast paced, challenging environment.
8. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
9. Demonstrated computer literacy including experience with MSOffice software.
10. Proven ability to attend work regularly.
11. Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.
