Sales Engineer - Permanent - UK Wide - CNC MachiningA Sales Engineer with a strong background or understanding of CNC machining capabilities is required to join a Bristol base engineering organisation who utilise the latest CNC technology and manufactures high - quality precision engineered components for the Aerospace and Defence sectors, supplying Prime, Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers. As the Sales Engineer you will be required to work from home with a view to developing new business across the UK, ideally within new sectors such as rail, medical, automotive or construction, but not limited to. A company car will be provided along with a laptop and mobile phone. Further responsibilities are as follows:Developing sales and business activity across a range of sub - contracting machining clientsDeveloping sales outside of the company\'s current industry sectors and client baseTo liaise with the Technical Director and/or his team on all relevant aspects of bidding activityTo regularly report on relevant market opportunitiesTo manage sales cycles to the point of client order placementTo ensure all sales activity is completed within the commercial boundaries set by the MDBe the principal point of contact for new clients ensuring timely bid responseFor the role of Sales Engineer you must have the following skills/Experience:Precision machining background/knowledge with a detailed understanding of machining capabilityThree plus years of experience working within in a similar roleStrong engineering and CNC sub - contract knowledgeDetailed understanding of pricing/estimating underpinned by sound commercial expertiseTenacious but with the ability to market ME accounting environment with detailed exposure to a variety of different types of accounting transactionsPossesses a strong communication and influencing skillsInterviews for the Sales Engineer position will commence with immediate effect with a view to starting as soon as the 25th July.
