Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join our team in Coleshill, Birmingham. This will be a full-time office-based role. The candidate should have experience in an account’s role and knowledge of Xero accounting would be beneficial. Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions Complete bank reconciliation Monitor transactions for irregularities Post purchase invoices to accounts Reconcile supplier ledgers to statements and liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries Prepare client statements Weekly reporting on credit control, to include chasing overdue accounts with calls, letters and LBA for timely payments Manage expenses and process credit card transactions Prepare and submit business activity statements (BAS) Complete quarterly VAT returns Reconcile Paye and P32s to HMRC portal each month Answering calls in relation to finance and supporting the team across other functions Supporting external accountants with providing data and analysis as requested by line manager Package £25-£30K salary 20 days holiday Christmas shutdown Company pension Westfield Healthcare scheme
