Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and committed Youth Services Officers to assist our team in delivering high-quality and culturally appropriate programs and services for disadvantaged and at-risk young people and their families. Key responsibilities include promoting community awareness of our services, acting as a role model, developing trusting relationships with customers and agencies, and advocating for young people in need. The role involves developing and supervising recreational and life skills programs, linking young people to appropriate services, maintaining service records, and ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations. The ideal candidate will be professional, proactive, and dedicated to enhancing the safety, security, and well-being of young people in our community.
Please note that this position is based in Derby with a base hourly rate of $32 - $39 an hour plus Superannuation (11% & up-to 7% Council matching). Join us in supporting our youth at the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley!
