Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night shift - sleep ins Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. A background in childcare or similar experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to individuals in accordance with established care plans.
* Assist children with daily activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to promote a collaborative approach to care.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client conditions.
* Drive clients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring timely arrivals and safe transportation.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Support clients in developing life skills and independence through tailored programmes.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children or in a similar support role is essential.
* A strong understanding of IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is beneficial.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
* Familiarity with creating or implementing care plans is an advantage.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as required.
