Role Overview: As a social obsessed brand with community at the heart of everything we do, we’re looking for an experienced, passionate Brand Communications & Social Media Manager to take the lead on our organic social strategy, bringing the BEAUTY BAY brand to life across our content channels. This is not like any other social media role, you will lead the messaging & brand comms across the business to ensure our brand pillars and marketing strategy are aligned across all customer facing channels including Paid Social, Influencer & website. Responsible for a team of three, you will be an experienced people manager who can demonstrate an ability to build and develop a best-in-class social team. As an expert on Social Media, you will have a proven track record in delivering high performing content and community strategies including content creation and scheduling, building and engaging communities, planning and executing social-first campaigns, social listening and reporting, and understanding the evolving digital landscape including optimising plans to reflect algorithm changes and the move into new channels. This role will partner closely with our Influencer, Paid Media and Campaign teams so you will be a strong, collaborative communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver commercially optimised activations. We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with trends and looking for an opportunity to develop trend-led content plans that excite and inspire our social communities. Key Responsibilities: Planning and executing BEAUTY BAY Organic Social channel strategies from content creation through to community management and performance analysis Planning and bringing to life the Brand pillars and ethos across all channels of the business aligned with the marketing calendar and key trading initiatives Day-to-day line management and ongoing development of the Organic Social team Deliver regular reporting and analytics on channel performance, setting clear and ambitious KPI’s with both short-term and long-term actions to drive continuous growth in reach and engagement Partner with Brand Campaign team to lead ideation and briefing of Organic Social activation for key retail brand and private label storytelling including product launches and key commercial moments Partner with Paid Social team to align on content boosting plans ensuring teams are focused on strategic objectives across commercial and brand awareness Partner with Influencer team to deliver strong community centric plans both through commissioned content and community engagement As a brand guardian, represent the Brand and Social teams as a champion of trend and community insights, sharing with the wider business to influence key strategic decisions and ensure BEAUTY BAY’s brand values are always front of mind Support international territories in building channel plans and driving growth in key international markets, ensuring our high standards of brand values are represented Share trend, performance and industry insights with the Creative team to ensure content is always best-in-class and optimised for each channel Stay on the pulse of the digital landscape, identifying actionable future opportunities as the industry evolves Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed : 5 years’ experience in social media marketing including line management Strong attention to detail with a right first time mindset Pro-active with strong initiative and an ability to thrive on change in a fast-paced environment Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects An analytical, commercial mind-set with a strong understanding of the importance of marketing Internal and external stakeholder management Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Committed to working as part of a team Passionate about all thing’s beauty
