Role
To implement the Temple fundraising strategy by Working closely with the Trustees and Campaign Committee members to achieve the £2 million target.
Responsibilities
1. Fundraising
• Lead the implementation of the Fundraising Action Plan.
• Organise and successfully conduct the Information Event programmes.
• Support the leadership of the campaign in their fundraising endeavours by coordinating meetings, providing briefings and assisting with the task.
2. Individuals
• Assist in establishing the Campaign Committee, planning timetables, inductions and training.
• Assist in recruiting and briefing fundraising Ambassadors to host Information Events.
• Manage the stewardship of all prospects to ensure the completion of the asking process.
3. Database & administration
• Establish and maintain a CRM database for givers and prospects.
• Monitor fundraising income and report on a regular basis.
• Ensure gifts are processed correctly and logged on the database.
• Maintain Gift Aid declarations and prepare regular rebate submissions.
• Ensure supporter acknowledgements and credit on publicity materials.
4. Terms
• 1 year extensible, 30 hours a week, Flexible working, working from home.
• Salary negotiable based on Market rates.
• Should be eligible to work in UK and undergo enhanced DBS check.

• A genuine passion for life and vision of the new Mandir.
• Professional experience of working in a project management environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to develop and maintain good relationships.
• Track record of meeting professional targets / goals.
• Budget planning and reporting experience.
• Understanding of different funding sources and Gift Aid regulations.
• Excellent planning and research skills.
• Social networking skills, Personable manner, with the confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders and senior volunteers.
• Good level of IT skills.
