Employment Associate (4 years PQE) – 9-month Fixed-Term Contract (Parental Leave) About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a leading Top 100 London firm’s renowned Employment Team, which provides comprehensive advice across both contentious (80% of the work) and non-contentious employment law matters. The role is on a hybrid basis and can be full-time or part-time (4 or 5 days a week). This role involves supporting high-profile clients on complex workplace issues and advising on employment-related aspects of corporate and real estate transactions. You’ll work closely with the firm’s corporate and property teams on mergers, acquisitions, and more, while also advising an impressive standalone client base in sectors such as finance, media, pharmaceuticals, and leisure. Key Responsibilities: Providing strategic advice on key employment matters, including TUPE, post-termination restrictions, and partnership issues. Managing a diverse portfolio of advisory and litigation cases, representing clients at both Employment Tribunals and the High Court. Approximately 80% of the role will be handling employment litigation. Supporting corporate and property transactions with guidance on employment matters such as reorganisations, mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border workforce transitions. Advising clients on day-to-day HR concerns, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and drafting contracts and staff handbooks.
