The UK is one of the biggest markets in Europe and there has been significant investment in personnel and products has been taken to prepare the business for substantial growth. Combined with the release of a number of unique and exciting products into the market the UK AC business is in a great position to capitalise of the opportunities the UK market offers!
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
1. Develop sales to grow the Samsung brand in the UK market
2. Increase Samsung awareness across all industry segments/verticals
3. Promote solution based business development with distribution partners
4. Grow in store share for distribution partners
5. Find opportunities within the UK distributor market
6. Develop End User relationships/specifications for Samsung Heating, Cooling, Ventilations and controls solutions in conjunction with parallel sales teams and departments
7. Proactively network across all channels
8. Support delivery of SEUK expectations & Targets
9. Engage with distributors to support business growth and support specification wins
10. Sales Training / CPD Presentations to Consultants/Contractors/End users & Channel partners as appropriate
11. Customer Relationship Building and proactively planned networking activities to boost Consultant, Contractor, End User and Distributor relationships and business opportunities
12. Identification and development of business opportunities for/from Consultants/Contractors/End Users and Channel partners and map or network to the appropriate partner to maximise Samsung sales and business development outcomes
13. Maintain accurate project information within ‘Sales Force’ project registration system to support pricing, tracking and communication of project information to the business in a timely manner
14. Provide monthly reports and weekly Call Logs/Plans to management
Skills and Qualifications
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
15. Experience working within the Air Con Industry in a senior sales capacity
16. Knowledge of DX air conditioning systems
17. Target driven with track record of achievement
18. Ability to increase sales revenue & control margin
19. Experience of working with M&E Consultants and Contractors/Installers
20. Ability to work with Distributor Partners and/or End Users
21. Ability to pro-actively support the sales function with full design and product knowledge
22. Strong communication and organisational skills and business insight
23. Pro-active networker
24. UK operational experience in AC industry
25. Good relationship with influencers at all tiers within the HVAC industry
26. Experience in major HVAC company especially for VRF products

29. A significant existing network of contacts within the M&E/HVAC/Air Conditioning industry in the North of England
30. Ability to work and deliver results either working through/with the Samsung Team or individually
