Job Title: Senior Surveyor – Building Consultancy
Location: Agile/Remote (with travel across the UK)
Salary: £50-55K Plus Package
Department: Building Consultancy
Role Purpose: To deliver expert building surveying and project management services, ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients and contributing to the operational excellence of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and execute building surveying and project management tasks from inception to completion across a range of instructions.
2. Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality services, maintaining strong attention to detail and adherence to agreed timelines.
3. Lead on portfolio instructions, coordinating resources to achieve successful project outcomes.
4. Provide technical expertise to ensure projects meet compliance, safety, and quality standards.
5. Support the department in delivering its strategic goals, including alignment with the company’s Quality Assurance framework.
6. Monitor and report on project progress, addressing challenges to ensure client satisfaction.
7. Foster collaboration with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
8. Maintain and apply comprehensive knowledge of company insurance procedures to safeguard project compliance.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Essential:
1. Chartered MRICS qualification.
2. Demonstrable experience in building surveying with a strong focus on project delivery.
3. Solid understanding of professional and project-based building surveying practices.
4. Excellent written communication skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
5. Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to deliver projects on time and within scope.
6. Own vehicle with flexibility to travel across the UK.
Preferred:
1. Experience with Building Surveys for investment or occupational purposes, including reporting on M&E services and energy performance.
2. Knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting.

2. High levels of accuracy and quality in technical outputs and documentation.
3. Positive feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
Stakeholders:
1. Collaborate closely with the Head of Building Consultancy for project alignment and support.
