PE Teacher - Blackpool - January start
Prospero Teaching are wanting to recruit a temporary teacher of PE for a secondary school in South Blackpool to join their team for the rest of the academic year, until July 25 covering a permanent member of staff who is absent. You will be required to teach classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4.
It is essential that you have a valid and recognised teaching qualification & that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching PE to students aged 11 - 16. It would be advantageous if you have experience coaching a school sports team.
The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

Minimum rate of pay £162.31 per day
Hours 8:30 am 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS or equivalent
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
