You will contribute and play a proactive role in the Commercial Operations senior leadership team, leading a team of supplier relationship professionals, providing coaching, mentoring and development and act as a strategic, proactive cross-functional driver of continuous improvement bringing together different stakeholders across the businesses and ensuring that the supply base is managed professionally, consistently and in an integrated manner. You will ensure your team act as an effective conduit between stakeholders and the Bank's supply chain and effectively and strategically support the Bank's stakeholders in managing the Bank's key suppliers and providing oversight to the management of the wider supply chain. To be considered for this role you will be a recognised strategic expert in supplier relationship management with solid and demonstrable experience of effective contract, commercial, service and budget management within a complex multi-source service / supplier environment, including performance/SLA/KPI management, service specific contract drafting and negotiation skills/dispute management. You will have experience of working in a complex corporate culture or rapidly growing business along with experience in working in diverse cross-functional/project teams. You will have a strong track record in effective and motivational people management to build, coach and motivate high performing teams as well as excellent presentation/briefing skills with the capability to both draft and present papers to all levels of seniority including executive committees. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse complex performance information and invoicing for all outsourced services and have an excellent knowledge of working with and managing outsourced IT suppliers. You will have experience in maximising and delivering change and continuous improvements and also be able to demonstrate good influencing and communication skills with experience of delivering them at all levels of the business You will already have a broad business knowledge including commercial, financial and technical awareness and be commercially astute, having extensive experience of commercial negotiations with suppliers and a comprehensive working knowledge of contract law. Demonstrable experience in drafting commercial documents including service level and key performance indicator metrics is essential.
